One of the things I find myself thinking about now I have been in ownership of my tab for a week is what else do I think that I need in terms of things like accessories. The Galaxy Tab has been criticised for going down the Apple route and not providing much in the way of connectivity. You only get the proprietary 30 pin connector to connect your peripherals to very similar to the iPad. This is in stark contrast to the likes of the Motorola Xoom which provides an SD card slot (only active with Honeycomb 3.1 installed) and a mini HDMI connector or the troubled Toshiba Thrive. This has a full size HDMI and a full Size USB connector although it's not without it's problems if you do a quick Google search.
So accepting that the tablet I have bought needs accessories, which will I buy? Well I would recommend to anyone a decent case that allows you to stand it up in some way as this will make your life so much easier when using it on your lap or even on a desk. I purchased a Belkin after market one which makes it so much more comfortable to use when in a sitting position. I bought this as I purchased my tablet as Currys were doing a 10% off accessories when you purchase your tablet offer.

USB Adapter
I'm also looking at purchasing a USB connector which will allow me to connect my camera on my upcoming holiday to allow me a way of backing up my photos during the trip. Some may argue that the other tablets have this functionality and represent better value as you don't need to purchase any add-ons and that is probably true but I would argue that they aren't as well built or as light as the Samsung Galaxy Tab.

Keyboard Dock
If your going to use this tablet for lots and lots of typing then you may wish to consider the Keyboard Dock but then this would limit you to desk based typing primarily. Also I feel that the on-screen keyboard is very good on the Galaxy Tab and certainly for me at this stage I won't be looking to invest in the Galaxy Keyboard Dock.

HDMI Adapter
For those of you that travel quite a bit and perhaps want the ability to play your videos on a larger screen then there is the HDMI cable accessory will allow you to do this. The only down side of this is that you need to have it attached to the mains at all times while your playing back the video.
All the links I have supplied here do link to play.com but the accessories are available from other major retailers, but I found that play.com was cheaper than Amazon.co.uk by approx £10.
